Note 01 — What We Do

We deliver structured site intelligence — not drone footage.

Every engagement begins with the decision your team needs to make. From there, Overra scopes the flight plan, capture method, processing workflow, and final deliverable package around the commercial use case — so what reaches your desk is organized, current, and ready to act on.

Sec. 02 — Capabilities

Commercial aerial data products.

Photogrammetry & Orthomosaics

Planned aerial capture processed into clean, measurable site maps for documentation, planning, and visual reference context.

OUTPUT: GEOTIFF / JPEG · 1–3 CM/PX

Visual Site Models

Textured model views and 3D context when the project scope supports it — useful for orientation, stakeholder review, and records.

OUTPUT: OBJ / GLB · 2–4 CM/PX

Recurring Construction Documentation

Repeatable, milestone-aligned site capture that lets project stakeholders compare conditions across the build timeline.

CADENCE: WEEKLY – MONTHLY

Asset & Facility Visual Documentation

High-resolution visual data capture for roofs, façades, pavement, yards, and hard-to-access assets — organized for review and documentation, without engineering, diagnostic, or condition conclusions.

DETAIL: SUB-CENTIMETER

Sec. 03A — Output Demonstration

See how each deliverable supports a different decision.

Demonstration, not client work. This interactive plate uses illustrative geometry and representative specifications. Authorized project examples will be added only with client permission.

D-01 — Orthomosaic Map

A current, navigable view of the entire site.

A planned image set is processed into one consistent overhead map for visual reference, documentation, and measurements appropriate to the agreed scope.

Sec. 04 — Operating Standards

General notes: strict by design, before the drone leaves the ground.

  1. 01.

    Weather & site go / no-go

Every flight is subject to advance and day-of weather analysis using UAV Forecast and local sources. Unsafe conditions mean delay or cancellation.

  2. 02.

    Airspace & restriction checks

Airspace class, FAA requirements, flight restrictions, and applicable state and local constraints are reviewed before scheduling and again before launch.

  3. 03.

    Permission-controlled capture

Commercial site work requires clear authorization from the property owner, site manager, or authorized representative before operations begin.

  4. 04.

    Insured operations

Overra maintains standing ground and business coverage. Aviation liability coverage is bound per engagement through SkyWatch, with a certificate of insurance available before each flight.

  5. 05.

    Privacy by default

Capture planning follows strict privacy practices, including Texas Government Code Chapter 423 considerations and avoidance of unauthorized surveillance.

  6. 06.

    No public sharing without approval

Client imagery, maps, reports, and project details are never used in public marketing or portfolio materials without explicit permission.

Deliberate, and built around the objective.

  1. 0+00 SCOPE

We clarify the business need, location, timeline, deliverable expectations, and site-access requirements.

  2. 0+25 PLAN

Airspace, safety conditions, capture geometry, and operating constraints are reviewed before the field visit.

  3. 0+50 CAPTURE

Data is captured with the deliverable in mind, then processed into the agreed mapping or documentation package.

  4. 0+75 DELIVER

Your final package is organized for stakeholder review, internal records, and practical next-step decisions.

Sec. 06A — Project Scope Builder

Prepare a useful starting scope in under a minute.

Sec. 06B — Common Questions

What commercial teams usually need to know first.

Are mapping products certified land surveys?

No. Unless a project is explicitly contracted through an appropriately licensed professional, Overra mapping products are visual and informational deliverables, not certified boundary surveys or engineering determinations.

What determines accuracy and resolution?

Flight altitude, camera system, site geometry, lighting, vegetation, GPS conditions, overlap, processing workflow, and any ground-control requirements all affect the final result. The usable specification is defined before capture.

What happens if weather or airspace prevents a flight?

Safety and legality control the schedule. If conditions are unsuitable, Overra coordinates the next practical window rather than forcing a capture that could reduce safety or data quality.

Can deliverables stay private?

Yes. Client imagery, maps, models, reports, and project details are not used publicly without explicit permission. Delivery and retention expectations can be documented in the project scope.

What should I send with a consultation request?

The site location, approximate boundary or acreage, intended business use, target date, access contact, and preferred deliverables are the best starting points. If those details are not settled, the scope builder above is enough to begin.

Sec. 07 — Contact
